Samoan wrap made of printed cloth. Design in black, white and tan on a red-brown background. The hem is wider than the band along the top edge. There are four large ties along the top edge, and two button holes. Spaced evenly with the button holes are slash pockets, which creates a small fold in the cloth.

Talking Stick3439/4 a-b

Long carved stick that is composed of two sections that screw together. The lower half (part a) has a long plain section with a flat base. There are two areas carved with vertical decorations flanking a single ring, and one area where it tapers away in either direction from a ring. The upper half (part b) is carved with sections of four stacked rings, spiral as well as three sections where it tapers away in either direction from a ring.

Tapa Cloth3425/1

Rectangular tapa cloth with geometric designs in black, dark red-brown and tan against an off-white background on one side. The tapa cloth is divided by patterned lines into four rows of six rectangles. The first, third, fourth and sixth squares contain a diagonal cross design with four diamond-like shapes. The second and fifth rectangles contain a large diamond with four smaller diamonds within. Edges uneven.
