Belt2728/2

Belt made of a band of beads strung together and sewn onto a rawhide backing. A connected repeating pattern in alternating red and blue on a white background is bordered with green. One end of the skin wraps around the centre of a small silver metal buckle, the other end narrows slightly and is rounded at tip.

Belt made of band of red, black and white beads strung together in a repeating pattern of two designs. Both ends are sewn onto a rectangle of light skin, one of which is sewn around an oval metal loop covered with white beads. A snap fastener has been sewn onto the other end and is snapped around the loop.

Belt2728/3

Belt made of a band of beads strung together and sewn onto a rawhide backing. A repeated pattern of blue flowers on a stem with green leaves on a white background is broken up by two sets of black beads in a pattern, (possibly letters EDIE?). One end of the skin wraps around the centre of a small silver-coloured metal buckle, the other end narrows slightly and is somewhat pointed at tip.

Large, deep rectangular basket with handles (a) and lid (b). A cross with a diamond shape at the end of each arm is woven into each of the sides in black or red cherry bark. A long foot or platform protrudes out from the edge of the base. Diamond and linear designs in red and black cherry bark on top and sides of lid.

Baby Carrier2739/2

Doll-sized basketry cradle. Red and light yellowish strips of bark are woven into the basketry on outer sides in a repeating step pattern. A light coloured, curved wood handle is tied on near the head of the cradle with strips of soft rawhide and several more strips are knotted on at either end and inside.
