Pipe Bag1003/81

A long brown skin piece with two rounded open split parts at one end and a square end at the other. The two rounded open split parts at the one end have a twisted leather cord with either dark blue or light blue beaded coiling and white beads throughout the bottom ends at either sides. The square end has red-dyed bark(?) around the top parts of the long leather fringe with a row of beads in between. The square end has a floral pattern on a white background. Three flowers have a yellow centre with five red heart-shaped petals surrounded by pink, blue stems, and green leaves. Three flower buds have orange centres surrounded by red. The floral pattern is outlined with light blue beads. The entire object is edges with clear blue beads.

Headdress1003/70

A large headdress with a beadwork head band that has downy white feathers above and long brown feathers extending further upward with more white feathers and some red feathers along the top. The bottom ends of the feathers are wrapped with red fabric which have horizontal rows of beadwork wrapped around them, with one green row at the centre surrounded by a bronze-coloured row and two white rows. The feathers are attached to the beadwork head band with red leather loops. The beadwork head band has a white background with a red and blue floral pattern and green leaves. Around the sides of the head band there are long tan and red coloured bands of felt and two white fur tails with brown tips.

Beaded Bottle1003/20 a-b

Beaded bottle. A glass bottle covered in beads with light brown hide around the bottom. The bottle has a long slim octagonal neck and a body which flares outward toward the bottom. The beadwork design consists of three horizontal rows of multi-coloured parallelograms outlined with black around the body of the bottle on a light blue background. The section between the neck and the body of the bottle has a multi-coloured starburst-shaped design outlined with black. There is a cork stopper (part b) covered with multi-coloured beadwork around the top. Colours include white, orange, yellow, red, dark blue, and green.

Belt797/7

A small leather belt with a beadwork pattern of squares of light blue outlined with white at either sides of either a white square outlined with yellow and having a red and green hour glass-like design or a yellow square outlined with white and having a dark blue and white hour glass-like design, with a vertical row of green in between. This beadwork pattern alternates with a rectangular design of metal circles. The belt is rimmed along the edges with pink along the top and the bottom.

Belt797/6

A large brown leather belt with beadwork and a metal buckle which attaches to a strap on the other end. The design consists of alternating rectangles of leather and beadwork pattern. The beadwork pattern has a yellow background on two squares with a dark blue diamond-shape at the middle of each which have a vertical line of horizontal rows of light blue, red, green, red, and light blue outlined with green running down the middle of each, and a vertical line of light blue outlined with green in between them. The belt is edged with light blue beads along the top and the bottom.

Staff1003/37

Wooden staff with elaborate, undulating carved designs. Top of staff is spherical with sinuous descending carved ridges. Centre of staff features a raised black snake with two serpentine carved ridges on the opposite side, echoing the snake's shape. Directly underneath the snake--marking the bottom third of the staff--is a ring of raised elliptical shapes.
