Fertility FigureK2.37

Fertility figure (akuaba) with a flat, disc-shaped head. High oval forehead, curved upraised brows, oval eyes, a long vertical nose, a pair of horizontal upraised marks on each cheek, and a small mouth at the bottom of the face. Five rings are carved around the neck. The short horizontal rectangular arms are outstretched to the sides with fairly flat breasts below. The lower half of the body is cylindrical and ends with a base at the bottom. Red bead earrings and beaded necklace. String of yellow beads around the base. Polished black.
