Wearing a long black head cloth that has several gold-coloured dots, a dark blue sleeveless robe, which is over a red robe with multi-coloured striped sleeves, which is over a grey robe, white socks, and low red shoes. A flat rectangular fan with two lobes at the top. Main colour is green mottled with yellow. Frame is of many very fine ribs of split bamboo (?) with paper on each side which is lacquered. Straight, black-painted, wooden handle is split and spread to allow insertion of the fan. Fan is painted orange around the handle. Around the orange area, there is a black paper cut on each side of the fan which is also lacquered. Fan is edged in dark green.

A closing fan with twenty-three inner ribs of split bamboo with a painted cloud-like design on the base of each side and two bamboo parent ribs also with a painted design set into a dark rosewood piece into which the metal rivet has been placed. Fan face is rice paper with small pastoral scene painted at the centre top with seven writing characters on the left side of the face. Attached to the metal rivet, there are two light blue-green tassels, 25 cm. long, including the cord.

Bottle of red-bodied ? stoneware, on round base expanding slightly to sides of bottle, which are seven-facetted. Sides contract slightly to neck, which is narrower and round, then flares to round concave rim. Sides are translucent, covered with grey-white glaze, uneven and pitted, with heavy layer of red-brown clay adhering around base.

Ellipsoid, hollow, bronze incense burner on single ring ellipsoid foot. On base is rectangle enclosing square seal-type characters. Sides unadorned below midsection. Raised band around perimeter; flat projections shaped like half-ellipses on each side. Mounted on top is a hinge; half the top is cut free and hinged so it can be inverted; on underside of this is a spike 2.3 cm. long. Top and projections inlaid with strips of lighter metal in cloud patterns. Bronze has dark brown patina.

Round, flat, brass plate with flat base and straight flared sides 2.4 cm high. Two concentric circles indented near centre of inner surface. Outer surface shiny; inner surface has dull patina; turning marks are visible.

Very shallow round brass bowl with flat base and straight, slightly flared sides. Single circle indented on inner surface at bottom, about 1.5cm. from edge. Outer surface shiny ; inner surface has rather dull patina. 4 faint characters are scratched on inside rear rim.
