A flat bag of twill-weave light brown grass, woven in one piece, rectangular in shape, and open at one narrow end. The edge of the opening is finished by turning ends of grass back and weaving in. There is a double row within 1.5 cm. of the open edge. The handle of braided root fibre (?), 51 cm. long and tied at mid-length, is affixed to the opposite corners of the bag by threading through the weave.
A dog collar of heavy rattan, tied into a knot. From it, there are suspended four rattan loops, of a doubled length approximately 6 cm. The ends of each loop are threaded through a hole in a seed pod. The four seed pods are irregular in shape, approximately 5 cm. long and 3 cm. thick and hollow with a rough veined surface. A section of each has been cut out.
A bamboo section of a pipe with two segments. The top segment has been perforated to allow passage of smoke to the mouthpiece, which is simply an upper cut end of bamboo section, where 15 cm. from the bottom of the pipe, there is a hole 1.5 cm. in diameter, blackened by smoke, apparently for insertion of tobacco.
Axe (t-shaped, mount Hagen type). Flat head (part b) of black stone projects 20 cm. from the handle, curving towards the working edge, tapering towards handle. Blade balanced by projection of wood extending 16 cm. from the handle, 3 cm. wide, flattened oval in cross-section, with narrow raised ridge around circumference 2 cm. from the end. Projection partially coated with grey clay. Handle (part a) of wood is a flattened oval in cross-section, tapered to the end. Components bound together with binding of heavy rattan. Head is loose.
Axe (t-shaped, mount Hagen type). Flat head of green-grey stone which projects 21 cm. from the handle, 10 cm. wide. Head balanced by projection of black palm wood 25 cm. long, flattened oval in cross-section, 3 cm. wide, with a narrow raised ridge around circumference 5.5 cm. from the end. Handle of black palm wood, and balancing projection coated with a black substance. Three components are bound together with heavy rattan.
Mat of pandanus leaf stitched with bark fibre ? and bark cord with the leaves parallel to the transverse axis. Rectangular in shape, folded in the middle on the longitudinal axis. One long edge stitched on the inside with bark ? fibre; one long edge stitched on the outside with bark cord, one short edge finished in a running stitch with bark ? cord . All edges of leaves are folded under.
Large, brown woven fibre bag with open mesh. The bag is flat in a circular-like shape with long extending straps that taper to form two points which can be tied to form a handle.
An arrow shaft, 94 cm. long, binding to a point, of pitpit (sword grass). The point is bound to the shaft with a 10 cm. wide band of trade cord coated with yellow clay. The point is triple made of three flat bamboo slivers bound to the outside of the shaft, each projecting 10.5 cm. beyond the shaft and 1 cm. wide, tapering to a sharp point, flaring out from the shaft.
An arrow shaft, 82 cm. long, made of pitpit (sword grass). The shaft is light brown with black coating. The foreshaft of black palm wood, 41 cm. long, has an incised design. At the point of insertion into the shaft, there is a sleeve of woven split rattan 1 cm. wide. The foreshaft is inserted into a hollow lanceolate bone point 10 cm. long with a sleeve of woven split rattan 1.5 cm. wide at the point of insertion. The point is rubbed with grey clay. The foreshaft is rubbed with grey clay and red ochre.
A smooth black stone that has an oblong rectangular shape with both sides slightly curving convexly and tapering at an angle, creating an edge at one end which is more flared than the other more rounded pointed end.
