Headdress composed of a wide band and a long train. The band is decorated with two rows of cowrie shells, which are divided by rows of small red beads. Bottom edge bordered with colourful embroidery. A long train extends down from the band. At top, within beaded ovals are cowrie shells in four-sided designs. Rows of buttons, small brass bells, and circular metal discs, and vertical strings of beads alternating yellow and red or white and red. The train ends with long, dark brown woolen fringe.
Small child's vest. Heavily embroidered and beaded on both sides. Looped beading along the bottom edge, with design repeated across the chest. Two horizontal open pockets, one on each side. Opaque white buttons all over (flat and rounded shank buttons and sew through buttons) , with one small button and loop closure near top of opening. Small circular metal decoration on right edge of vest's opening. Dark blue fabric lining.
Square quilted textile. Central design is an X-shape created with five diamonds. This is bordered by small squares, every other square is white with a diamond. This is bordered by opposing strips of floral fabric, and opposing strips of burgundy across the shorter edges. Finished with black edging, and a small black loop in one corner. Reverse is unfinished - not backed.
Woman's necklace composed of 10 strands of red, round glass beads with a small repeating pattern of green and white round glass beads. All strands are knotted together at each end, and the ends are in turn knotted together to close the necklace.
Silver coloured darning needle.
Long narrow woven sash-like garland. There are a number of traditional weaving designs including “shinguk chot” or goat horn design, “munguzyeek chot” or fly design, “birra kumba chot” or male goat’s crossed horns and “watch chot” or the hourglass drum. The main colour used in the weaving is a yellow-green. The fringe is separated out into 14 sections with 12 of those section made up of the gathering of several threads which are then wrapped with gold and silver thread. The two innermost sections are wrapped with green and red thread.
Long, narrow, woven sash or garland. The length of the garland is white, with multi-coloured and white fringe at each end, which is grouped in sections and wrapped with multi-coloured thread.
Hammered, silver, circular ornament made up of four concentric circles, each of which supports a repeating pattern of a triangular motif. Each triangle is made up of six dots or circles, widest at the base, with the single topmost dot attaching to the next concentric circle. The number of triangles in each circle increases with the increased size of each concentric circle.
Women's circular-shaped brass neck ring, open at the top. There is spiraling groove carved around the central two-thirds of the neck ring. Both ends taper at the opening and are smooth with no carving present. One tapered end curves to make a “U” shape, while the other end has a much broader bend.
Woman's short, choker-style necklace composed of six strands of oval red and round white glass beads in an alternating pattern, organized in four sections separated by three carved, flat, elliptical cow bone pieces. Each bone piece is incised with a dark brown pattern of four groups of concentric circles arranged in a line down the centre surrounded by dots. The strands are tied together at each end and there is a metal hook closure attached to the stands with fibre.
