Bottom half has colourful embroidery in geometric pattern. There are five large pink pompoms on the top of the hat, one on the centre of the starburst, and four surrounding it.

Black rectangular bag with long shoulder strap. Bottom of bag has two square pieces of fabric which hang down on either side. Both sides of bag have blue rectangle applique with swirl heart cut-outs. Green and pink embroidery decorate the applique. There is a red floral zigzag applique bordering the blue.

Hat with stepped rectangular sides that create open spaces at the top in the shape of diamonds. Hat is black with red border and red upside-down "T" shaped appliques on either side. Appliques are decorated with embroidered swirl designs. The front of the hat has a thick seam with horizontal red, white, black and green stripes.

Small round hat with thick cross-shaped piece attached to top. Cross is red with colourful embroidered design in the centre outlined in white, green, and black concentric crosses. Piece is attached to hat with a red knot of fabric and a round metal coin. Coin has "Republique Francaise" embossed on front side with female (?) and flower (?) design. Back of coin has "Indochine Francaise 5 Cent 1938" with leaf design. Hat has alternating black and red triangular sections with stitched swirly "Y" designs. Black sections have red stitching outlined in light green-blue, and red sections have green stitching outlined in yellow. Bottom has a band of pink and white triangles with a red line in the centre. One side has a light green-blue zigzag in the centre of the red line.

Small round hat with dark grey top and a band of multi-coloured embroidery with star motif. Two dark purple bands with yellow stitching border either side of the embroidered band. The hat bunches at the top and has a blue, purple and yellow circle design. There are three large pompoms, predominantly red, on the sides of the hat and five smaller pompoms on the top. The bottom of the hat has a border of green, blue, dark red, and yellow wool thread, which also goes up one side of the hat to one of the top pompoms.

There is a black piece of fabric attached to one ear flap and tied to a red loop, which is attached to the opposite ear flap. Top of hat has alternating black and green triangular sections with starburst and zig zag applique designs. Black sections have white applique with pink and green stitching. Green sections have red applique with yellow and green stitching. Top of hat has a red starburst outlined with green and yellow stitching and a red pompom on top.

Small hat with flaps on sides. Triangular ear flaps are pink with white centres and blue zig zag designs with pink and green stitching. There is a black piece of fabric attached to the interior left ear flap and a loop of fabric on the opposite flap. Top of hat has alternating black and blue triangular sections with anchor shaped applique design and triangle pattern beneath. Black sections have white applique with pink stitching. Blue sections have red applique with yellow stitching. Top of hat has a blue circle outlined with green and orange stitching. Three pompoms hang from beaded string on the outside of the circle. Two of the pompoms are pink and one is orange.

Small hat with flaps across back and on sides. Back flap is pink with green and blue geometric patterns. Triangular ear flaps are white with pink, blue, orange and green geometric patterns. There is a long blue piece of fabric attached to the interior of the right ear flap, and a loop of fabric on the opposite side. Top of hat has alternating black and blue triangular sections with applique swirl and zig zag design. Black sections have white applique with pink and green stitching. Blue sections have red applique with green and pink stitching. Top of hat has a circular silver repoussed metal disc with a pink pompom coming out of a hole in the centre.
