A rounded piece of coarse dark stone, which is flat on both ends and has a deep circumferal groove around the middle for holding hafting lashings. Lower edge is flattened to sit firmly on hafting. Head is lashed with cedar root to carved wood hafting platform. Extending from this is a curving branch which acts as a handle.

Halibut HookA1103

Spruce root hook, carved and steamed into a "u"-shape until the two arms come together. There is a knob carved on one arm end and leader line attached. The other arm end is fixed with a wooden point set at an acute angle to the arm and lashed with braided rope.

Net SinkerA1099

Irregularly shaped piece of grey stone with a number of circular depressions on one side. The other side is mostly flat with the exception of one large and one small hole penetrating through. The small hole has possibly been drilled. A flat, but thick, metal ring is attached to the sinker by a piece of string.

Wooden lidded bowl. Seal figure with a cavity in the top of its back (a) and a lid (b) in a convex oval shape with an eagle figure, its wings extended, perched at the top centre of the lid. The seal figure is painted with black and pink on the body, black and pink flippers, pink lips and tongue, a black nose, pink nostrils, and blue around the eyes. The eagle figure has a painted black body and wings.
