Blouse3048/16

Sheer cream-coloured embroidered blouse; short bodice with long, flared sleeves and a wide collar. Small, white embroidered scrolls are scattered across the material. The collar, right front side edge and sleeve cuffs are decorated with intricate floral embroidery. Diagonal lines of embroidery also extend up towards the shoulders from the scalloped cuffs. The tops of the sleeves are pleated in a slightly lighter colour of cream fabric. The edge of the collar is also scalloped.

Cream-coloured textile with embroidery. The textile is made of sheer fabric, scalloped on two adjoining edges, straight and hemmed on the remaining. Along the scallops are wide borders of elaborate floral embroidery in cotton, on a mesh base. A large embroidered V-shape design extends into the centre of the textile from one corner and is decorated with the same floral pattern. Small embroidered S-shapes are scattered across the piece near the decorations.

Blouse with embroidered decoration; wide, open sleeves gathered where they attach to the bodice, and embroidered floral decoration around the collar and bottoms of the scalloped sleeves. The decoration consists of cream coloured embroidery of vines with leaves and flowers interspersed with light brown plastic sequins and beads. Small embroidered flowers are scattered across the fabric on both sleeves and the torso of the shirt. The sleeves are stiff and lined with mesh.

Square, cream-coloured embroidered textile. The front is made from sheer fabric, the back lined with cream mesh. The edges of the cloth are scalloped and embroidered, two in a more elaborate vine and flower pattern in light cream fibre. Interspersed throughout the pattern are pearlescent plastic sequins and translucent "manik" beads. On the decorated portion of the textile are nine small embroidered flowers above the borders.

Blouse3048/12

Embroidered shirt with belt. The blouse has a short, unfolded stand-up collar with brown scalloped embroidery in a flower, leaf and vine pattern around its edge. This pattern is repeated along the front shirt edge and sleeve edges. The garment closes at front with pearlescent plastic buttons. The right side of the shirt lies overtop of the left and extends out at an angle near the base of the collar. This extension is decorated with the same floral embroidery, with similar over the left breast as well as three large embroidered flowers. The left front side of the shirt is gathered into five darts. Paper tags are attached to the left sleeve and to the back of the collar. A belt of the same fabric is attached at the waist by two loops.

White, thin (jusi fabric), sleeveless top with embroidered lace design. The embroidery is a simple pattern of interlocking groups of three or four leaf-shapes, which creates a scalloped effect around the open edges. It decorates the collar, sleeve holes and bottom.

Fabric square with embroidered design in the form of a collar piece with a circular double chain of brown loops and a curved, lace section extending from one half of the chain loop. This section is decorated with brown embroidered floral patterns and a brown border around the white lace background. The central design pattern consists of two embroidered abstract leaf shapes surrounded on three sides by small groups of triangular leaves on vines.

Plaid scarf. The scarf is short and rectangular in shape with a plaid pattern consisting of overlapping stripes of bright pink, dark purple, yellow-orange and medium green colours. At the edges the stripe of green is twice the width as the others, as is the middle pink stripe.

Plaid two-part skirt. The skirt consists of two similarly sized rectangular strips of plaid fabric. The plaid pattern is made up of alternating and overlapping stripes of pink, purple, yellow-orange and green.

Plaid blouse with detached sleeve. The blouse (part a) has a short bodice with one semi-attached long puffed sleeve. The other sleeve (part b) is detached from the blouse. The plaid fabric consists of overlapping stripes of pink, purple, green and yellow-orange. The fabric is loosely woven and sheer. The bodice of the blouse is lined with pink cotton fabric, while the sleeves are unlined. The back of the blouse fastens with five silver metal snaps and one metal hook and eye attachment at the bottom of the flap.
