Painted wood statuette of San Vicente Ferrer. The standing monk with large wings wears a long white robewith black cape, holds, a red book and yellowed skull in his left hand and has his right hand raised in benediction. A hole in the back of his bald head indicates another attached appendage, perhaps a halo ? The figure stands on a painted blue base.

Wood toy donkey carrying two gray water containers. The cans are bound onto a woven burlap covering on its back with string that also winds around its head and ears. The wood body is covered with matted brown fibres that give the impression of hair, the head is painted white, brown and red, the ears are made of cloth and the tail is dark purple wool.

Cross2738/97

Triple wood crucifix. Onto a roughly carved, beveled and painted rectangle of wood have been nailed two crosses, the back one of which has another small bamboo cross nailed onto the top of the centre post. The larger cross is made from a naturally three-branched piece of wood that has been carved square with a diamond shape at each of the three tips and painted dark green and red with silver leaf trim. At the centre of the branch, below a carved red heart, hangs a small card depicting the Virgin, Child and two saints behind a rectangle of silver trimmed glass.

Corpus Christi Breastplate2738/56

Breastplate of a Corpus Christi dancer's costume with shoulder straps and rope waist ties, made from pink, red and brown scraps of material. Sewn onto the front is a square of dark maroon material bordered with silver foil, in the centre of which is a three dimensional wooden lamb covered with a blanket, painted entirely in gold and adorned with tiny metal objects, strings of blue, green, silver and fake pearl beads, and gold foil.

On a square platform, one figure kneads the clay, another carries the balls of clay in a bowl, another beats the clay on the floor with a bat. Glazed pitcher has bands of green, blue and black floral elements, zigzags interspersed with dots, and dots on limey yellow background. The central band has architectural-like elements that divide words made up of dotted letters (PALO? ME__? ELMirA ?) The handle has concave impressions down the sides and dots in the centre.

Large round dish, made of light orange clay, has unglazed outer surface, a beige glazed interior surface, pie-crust dented rim and sides that slope down to smaller pedestal food. There is a depiction in green and brown, in the bowl, of a cat-like animal standing amongst trees and flowers, and a cross-hatched green border around the inside of the rim.

Corpus Christi Apron2738/63

Front apron from a Corpus Christi dancer's costume. Large square of orange material has woven yellow, maroon and orange waistband, is bordered on three sides with long stands of blue, yellow and green wool and a fringe of brown wool, and has peach coloured satin backing. Sewn and glued onto the front are an assortment of coins, metal buttons, metal bells, an animal tooth, plastic and glass beads, decorative motifs in wool, and silver, blue and gold paper foil stars and circles.
