Cantonese opera, long-handled trident. The shaft is made of a cylindrical-shaped piece of wood, which joins to a tapering metal shaft at the top of which is a straight, vertical metal spike with four sides, and a flat, crescent-shaped piece of metal with pointed ends.

Woodblock musical instrument. Dark brown rectangular block of wood with two circular holes bored through one end along the edge, a long slit-like hole cut along the length of both sides, and five red characters painted on one end.

Small wooden drum covered on both ends with skin; skin is held in place by large metal rivets ringing the outer edges. A single black character is written on both skins; one skin has an additional oval-shaped stamp. Small metal handles on either side of the drum (one handle is missing).

Long vertical end-blown flute that has five evenly spaced raised ridges indicative of bamboo grass. There are several circular holes down the length of the flute as well as three sections of metal bands wrapped around the outside of the flute. One end is hollow and the other end is closed. There are characters in gold on the side of the flute.

Cantonese opera instrument. Two string fiddle, or violin (erhu, erxian), with bow attached, made from bamboo cane; two gourd-like pegs and two strings stretched over a bridge attached to a section of bamboo covered with reptile skin. Bow is strung with hair.

Flat, oval-shaped yellow headdress with a yellow fringe around the outer edge and a tinsel-like golden pom-pom atop the front section.

Flat, silver fabric headdress with two ear-like protrusions that curl upwards at the front. Adorned with silver trim and silver sequins sewn in floral patterns. A tasseled fringe hangs from the outer edge.

Rectangular light pink silk headband with light pink fibre stitching. Has been folded down the centre, in half, and in half again.

Thin long black strands that are attached and hang from a thicker piece of fibre imitating hair. Two long thick ties are on either side of the hairpiece ends to one side.
