The sunken eyes have reddish-purple discolouration around them. His fabric body / tunic is light green with sleeves and skirt of red with small flowers in blue, white and yellow. The fabric is adhered(?) to the hands and head, and wrapped with shiny gold ribbon at the wrists and neck. She wears a dress made of two different yellow floral-patterned fabrics with dark pink ribbon lining the neckline, cuffs and belting the waist. She has long curly black hair with a pink and orange ornament on the left side of her head. The fabric is adhered to the hands. Her boots are painted black. She is attached by many black strings to a wooden T-shaped control bar.

Her facial features are drawn in felt with almond-shaped black eyes, thick eyebrows, small nose, smiling burgundy mouth and rosy cheeks. She wears a long white sleeveless dress. Her red-brown hair is tied up, and worn under a white veil with a large jewelled pink and white bow. She wears earrings and a necklace.
