Ear OrnamentD2.57

Long, dangling ear ornament made from rows of white dentalium shell strung together. Nine sections divided by strips of leather. Seven denticles per section. Red beads at the end the end of each string (all missing except one). A leather thong is attached at the top.

Small beaded red hide pouch, tied with fringe on bottom. Along the rim, there are blue and yellow beads. The main beadwork design consists of horizontal rows of alternating sections of pink and light blue, or pink and dark blue-black, with white above and a double curly yellow row on top. There is a hide drawstring.

The rattle head is made of rawhide. The handle is made of a piece of wood wrapped in red wool and held on by a hide thong wrapped around its length. Head of rattle stained green on one side and orange on the other. Each of the two feathers has two red lines on it. There are small strips of white fur attached to the head. There is a looped band of fur attached to the end of the handle.
