Top of toe and long flap covering the back of the heel are made of green felt with beaded foliage. Toe decoration shows a white branch with green leaves and two sets of flowers, one in pink and green, the other in yellow and blue. Around the heel are similar motifs in a horizontal line, with a dark pink cotton lining on the underside of the flap. Yellow, red and white beads edge the flap.
Birch bark basket with handle. Basket is constructed of a single piece of bark bent and cut to create walls that have been stitched together with thin strips of bark up both short sides. A thin reed of wood is strapped to the top by bark to form a lip. The exterior is embossed with cross shapes and swirls on the ends, and a large tree-like motif at centre on both sides. Scallops line the lip. The interior is undecorated. A wide handle of yellow-brown canvas is attached to the basket by thongs of leather, held together at centre by a twist of wire and tied on the interior. The strap's length can be modified by use of a metal loop.
Octopus type bag. Small bag is rectangular in shape, with four 'tentacle' extensions at the bottom that are split in two and lined with blue and cream plaid fabric. Bag and extensions are densely covered in glass beading in flower and foliage patterns on both sides; some of the beads are one-cut beads, and there is a small floral area on one side done in metal beads. The extensions have multicoloured fabric pom poms hanging from their scalloped tips. Translucent beads line the outer edges. The bag is lined in plaid fabric, and a red braided string with decorative pom pom is threaded through the velvet panels at the top opening.
Pair of beaded cardboard moccasins. The sole and outside body are made from stitched together pieces of light brown paper from a beer case. The case’s perforations can be seen in the paper, and spots of adhesive remain. The toe-top is made from the red title labels of the case, and small, white glass beads have been sewn on in decorative patterns. The inside of each moccasin is lined with dark blue denim which is attached to the body with red stitching along the top.
