Bird figure in the shape of a duck with wide, flaring wings, two stubby feet, and a triangular-shaped tail. There is a large opening at the centre of the figure's back.
Meade said the bird was originally on top of a 'totem staff' outside of a house at Comox. Around 1900 he removed it, to Denman Island.
