Description

Cuff style silver bracelet. Most of the surface is covered with a double bear(?) motif. The animals face each other, with their noses almost touching at the centre; their back ends and hind feet touch the thin outline at the cuff ends; background mainly filled with crosshatching. Lightly engraved inside: "Carved by C Gladstone Skidegate Mission BC 1951".

Narrative

Purchased by the donors' mother, Diana Davie, in the early 1960s while visiting Haida Gwaii.
