Hair Tie Item Number: 3097/64 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Three piece hair tie. Three are tied together: two appear to be a pair; the other is similar but different. The two matching pieces are composed of thin black cords that separate at the bottom and lead into black fibre pom poms with dark orange undersides that are secured with dark yellow fibre. Each pom pom leads into two multicoloured wrapped tassels, with black pom poms with dark orange undersides, and secured with dark yellow fibre on the bottom. Each pom pom leads into two multicoloured wrapped tassels with black pom poms with dark yellow undersides, secured with neon pink fibre. The other, different piece is composed of a slightly thicker dark brown cord that separates at the bottom and connects to dark pink, light pink, and white wrapped fibre balls. There is another, short dark brown cord with frayed ends attached to the other cord where it separates. The balls at the bottom connect to dark red, light orange, blue-grey, or red wrapped tassels, with multicoloured wrapped fibre balls at the bottom. The blue-grey and red tassels are tied in two knots. The balls at the bottom lead into white, dark red, light green, pink, red, or light yellow wrapped tassels, with multicoloured wrapped fibre balls at the bottom.
