Description

Off-white t-shirt, made of imported cotton, with the logo "Zimaz Kreol" (I love Crelo) printed across the chest; text is done in red and outlined in black. Back of shirt has a large screen print of a woman carrying a woven basket of apples and pineapples on her head; woman is black and wearing a red dress with pink dots, and a red and white checkered head cloth. Print is rectangular and has a blue background, with green and yellow palm fronds, and banana plants throughout. Designer, Sunstroke Studio, and place made, Seychelles, printed underneath design.

Collected by the donor in 1991 in Victoria. Produced at the Sunstroke Studio in Victoria; designed by George Camille.

Logo is Seychellois Creole; represents pride in the Creolo language and the culture of the Seychelles.
