Description

Circular basket with flared opening. Walls slope gently into a flat base. Walls decorated with three overlapping heart-like shapes. The overlap creates three-petal flower design in the bottom centre. Rim is decorated with dyed coils. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Basket is golden brown, designs done in brown-red. Plastic tie attached to exterior, for hanging purposes.

Specific Techniques

Basket is formed with woven strands of grass, wrapped in mokola palm fibre.
