Bronze sculpture of a dancing bear. Figure is standing on its left hind leg, with its right raised. Left foreleg is stretched straight outward, right is bent at an angle; both have their paws curled. Left paw is facing up, right facing out. Grooves carved into edges of all paws, imitating claws. Bear has a narrow head, with pointed ears along the back edge, tapering to a flat snout. Teardrop-shaped eyes, nostrils and frowning mouth are incised. Artist mark, edition number 6/150, signature and date carved along bottom of left hind leg.
The artist said the bronze bears were cast in Germany for an exhibition he was having there.
