Jellyfish Sculpture Item Number: 3308/1 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Jellyfish figure made from reclaimed plastic fishing nets ("ghost nets"), plastic twine and rope. Woven white hood, and white tentacles, some loose and some braided, decorated with looped strands of orange or brown plastic. A matted section of plastic extends down from the centre, with the long tentacles around it. There is one coiled, disc-shaped decoration in the tentacles, white wrapped with thin brown strands.
Purchased by Mayer while visiting Erub Island.
