Byzantine coin of Nicephorus III, 1078-1081. Obverse: Christ, standing and facing front; he has a nimbus cruciger around his head, which is a cross within a halo; to left, star. Reverse: eight-pointed star within a circle; to left, right, above, and beneath circle, pellets. To upper right of circle, ‘N’.
