Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two standing figures; to left, Heraclius; to right, Heraclius Constantine, his son; both wear crown with cross; between their heads, there is another cross; to right, inscription says ‘UNSC’, which is either blundered or belongs to a previous coin. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘[A]NNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘Ϛ’; above, ‘PPAV’; beneath, backwards ‘B’; in exergue, ‘SELISϤ’. Coin has been overstruck, causing confusion on both sides.
