Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two rulers standing and facing front; Heraclius is on the left; Heraclius Constantine, his son, is on the right; each wears a crown with a cross; Heraclius is in military dress, holding a long cross, while Heraclius Constantine wears a chlamys, holding a globus cruciger; between their heads, there is another cross. Reverse: large ‘M’; to right, ‘XXI’ or ‘XXII’ in a vertical position; above, cross; beneath, ‘Δ’; in exergue, ‘CON’.
