Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: three rulers standing and facing front; Heraclius is in the middle; to his left, Empress Martina; to his right, Heraclius Constantine, his son; all hold globus crucigers in their right hands; above, ‘ANNO’ is written sideways. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, monogram; to right, ‘X…’; above, ‘ANNO’ and cross; beneath, ‘Δ’; if coin is turned upside down, there is a head with a crown on the reverse as well; to the left of the head, there are letters. Monogram corresponds to number 23 or 24 in the Sear catalogue. Coin was overstruck on a previous coin.
