Byzantine coin of Phocas, 602-610. Obverse: bust of Phocas, facing front, with consular robes and crown; above his head, there is an upside-down ‘CON’; to left, inscription says ‘NFOCA’; to right, there is an upside-down 'NNO’. Reverse: large ‘XXXX’; above, ‘[A]NNO’; in exergue, ‘CO[N]A’. This coin was overstruck on a coin of the previous emperor, Maurice Tiberius.
