Byzantine coin of Phocas, 602-610. Obverse: bust of Phocas, facing front, with consular robes and crown; to left, he holds a mappa; to right, he holds a cross; above his head, there is a cross; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘PERPAVC’. Reverse: large ‘XX’; above, star; in exergue, ‘CO[N]’ (possibly ‘E’ follows ‘CO[N]’ in exergue?).
