Description
Brown coloured, circular nose ring cut at the top centre to allow insertion onto the nose. The piece flares and thickens slightly toward the centre bottom. The surface is a mottled brown, covered in thin dark brown cracks.
Narrative
This nose ring was bought through a Christie's auction in London, where it was listed as part of the Beasley collection. Most of the Beasley collection is held by museums in the United Kingdom.
