Description

Clay ocarina in the shape of an animal, possibly a ram. The instrument has a round body standing on four widely spaced conical legs and a thick, upcurving tail. The head and face are well defined, with a round snout and open mouth, round incised eyes, and protrusions on the head possibly representing horns. Two small holes are bored into the ocarina, one through the neck, and one into the hollow body, just below the tail.
