Rough unpainted carving of the head and neck of a long necked bird, detached from the front of a pole.
An archival image of a pole standing in the village of Kitsegukla (Gitsegukla) shows the bird attached to the front of a pole, in the second section up from the base. There are also two smaller birds visible on the pole below this one. The birds may represent grouse? The fragment, as it came to the museum, only consists of the upper neck and head of the bird.
