Description
Dugout canoes on the Fraser River. Notation on the back of the photograph states that moters were later used, as well as fiber glass and aluminum for boats.
Provenance
The images were taken by professional photographer, David J. Martin, and later Augusta Martin (his wife) gave the collection to a relative - Donna Dippie. She in turned gave the collection to Keith Carlson. With Mrs. Dippie's permission, Mr. Carlson donated the collection to Sto:lo Nation in 2008.
