Leather Pouch & Fish Charm Item Number: E151592-0 from the National Museum of Natural History
From card: "Shaman's."In accession file Russell identifies object as small pouch containing a fish-shaped stone charm said to have been used by a shaman at Yakutat, and identifies the source of this information as Rev. Karl J. Hendricksen, missionary at Yaktutat (see Russell letter of Nov. 17, 1890 in accession file.) Apparently only the stone charm was located during the 1970's inventory.
