Cordage Fragment Item Number: 45KT20/363 from the The Burke: University of Washington
Multiple pieces of 2-strand twisted cordage fragments with ends heavily frayed. The artifacts' original tag is labeled as "45-KI-8-B/363/B-9"/FN-188" and "(b.) in pencil on the opposite side. An additional tag found with the artifacts is labeled "45KT20 (KI 8) 4 E 16 Box 4.4" in black ink. The Field Catalog Form lists their provenience as: Unit B-Block B, Vert. 9" and description as: "2-S cordage; Associations: AR-188." Artifact Record #188 reads "Description: cordage, Sq. or Pit #: B, Instr D: 9", Loc.: 9" of Stk. NW and 5.5" of Stk. NE, By: Giesa, Date: 7/21/53." (S. Chappel 2/25/10)
