Cordage Fragment Item Number: 45KT20/356 from the The Burke: University of Washington
Two pieces of thin, very tightly wound cordage fragments. Fragments are slightly different shades. The Field Catalog Form lists their provenience as Unit 5S1 Level +1, Vertical 3" (d), They are described as: "2 pieces cordage...Associations: AR-180." Also written in the margin of the Field Catalog Form: "Accidentally looped over unwanted bone which was not saved apparently." Artifact Record #180 reads: "Description: Cordage, (2 very small pieces), Sq or Pit #: 5S1, Depth: 3" above datum, Loc. 3.6' ft. from Stk. 5 and 3.9' ft. from Stk. 6, By: Harmon, Date: 7/21." (S.
