Petroglyph rubbing on long fiber tissue paper with black ink. K. Meyers 8/5/2003 From "Descriptive Catalogue of Petroglyph Prints for the University of Washington, from The Dalles Dam Resevoir, 1956." by Mark Hedden, located in the Archaeology Archives: Lineur (sic) figure based on center stem with three pronged base and oval head with a crosspiece at the midsection. A series of short diagonals are attached in pairs (one on each side) to the center stem & crosspiece with the apexes pointed in. The effect is that of pine twigs laid in a cross pattern with their needles pointing out. Other designs include an arc with rays and a circle with rays.
