Petroglyph rubbing on long fiber tissue paper with black ink. A. Gillespie 7/17/2003 From "Descriptive Catalogue of Petroglyph Prints for the University of Washington, from The Dalles Dam Resevoir, 1956." by Mark Hedden, located in the Archaeology Archive: "Monster". Stemmed body with circular head, midsection marked by five, short parallel lines, crossing at right angles to stem; arms & legs doubled, forming zigzag patterns cross (sic) stem, and terminate, in two places with claws (two short arcs directed up). Also two lineur (sic) figures with limbs outstretched, and terminating in two spread appendages. One has short irregular attachment ( navelcord?) to midsection. Other has circular body.
