Image of a kannushi (神主), or Shinto priest, wearing a green kariginu (狩衣), an everyday robe for Shintō priests; with a blue hakama (袴) or skirt-like pants, a black tate-eboshi (立烏帽子), or headwear, white tabi (足袋), or socks. The priest is holding a stick with white pieces of paper known as ōnusa (大麻/大幣). Paper is adhered to edges of silk.
