Round, 4 sided hole in centre, rim around outer edge and centre hole, obverse 4 characters, no writing on reverse. Yongli tongbao (top-bottom-right-left) in seal script. Outer rim uneven width; extra metal in centre hole; rim pits, flaws; reverse almost flat in places; thin rims, large characters.

History Of Use

Large sized circulating coin value 2. Made in Japan for Zheng Chenggong, with titles of Yongli. Zheng was subject to Yongli only when it suited Zheng's purposes; Zheng was a pirate-merchant.
