Indonesian slit gong or Kentongan wood drum carved in the shape of a dragon figure with a cylindrical shape body and a flat bottom. The top is slightly rounded with an incised dragon head detailed with ears, large protruding eyes, flat nose with incised nostrils and a large mouth with two sets of teeth. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior; opening is outlined in scales. The body of the drum is the body of the dragon carved in relief with various other dragon-like creatures; two have protruding tongues. There is a hole drilled through the head for hanging.
