Description
Papier-mache mask of a clown-like face. Face is painted orange with black and white features. Mouth is read. Head piece is blue. Face has a laughing expression on it with puffed cheeks. Black and white stylized swirl designs from ear to ear around the cheeks and chin.
Iconographic Meaning
Eyes represent 'yogi's eyes'. Mouth configuration indicates the trickster element in a holy man.
