Description

Triangular-shaped metal arrowhead has some corrosion and round metal shaft inserted in wood shaft. Both bound together with sinew. End is cut on an angle and lines have been incised across grain.

History Of Use

The partial arrow shaft would be joined onto another shaft either by glueing or binding. Arrows were used for hunting animals until the introduction of rifles made them obsolete.
