Description

Brass-coloured tweezers made of two arms brazed together at one end and expanding to a broad flat set of jaws at the other. A broad disc of brass has been left on each arm approximately halfway down their width and decorated with incised designs or spots and swirls. A ring has been secured around the handle end.

History Of Use

A hair plucker or tweezers which is no longer common. The are used to extract facial hairs (especially nasal), and slivers from the hands.
